This website presents a series of lessons aimed towards teaching PLTW students about a novel particle filtration technology that uses compressible particles. The lessons are presented in order such that students can systematically acquire background information leading to the description and use of the technology. The research results used to develop this website were obtained by the Geo-Innovations Research Group at San Diego State University with funding from the National Science Foundation, whose support is greatly acknowledged.
